Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated, creative college student to join our marketing team for a summer internship. As our Social Media & Content Management Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding our digital presence and connecting with the poker community through compelling content and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Poker Now’s newsletter, including content creation, design, and distribution (BeeHiiv)
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube)
- Identify and coordinate promotional partnerships with complementary brands
- Source and manage integrated content partnerships to expand our reach
- Implement influencer marketing campaigns to engage new audience segments
- Track campaign performance and provide analytical insights
- Assist with special marketing projects as needed
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Experience playing poker and an understanding of the game and importance of the poker community
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content marketing principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic graphic design and content creation abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Required Skills
- Experience with social media management tools
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms
- Understanding of digital marketing analytics
- Comfort with leveraging AI tools for content creation and marketing
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
